  • Lidl have seeds in!

Bought seeds from there last year. And have just had a bit of a splurge! Well, I say `splurge' but 29p and 43p for seeds is not really going to break the bank!
    Got summer flowers
    thyme
    aubergines
    dill
    marjoram all 29p
    Scarlet runner bean
    cape daisy
    mangetout
    yellow french beans all 43p
Or they might have benn 23p and 49p I can't find my receipt!
Anyway, they are ever so good, and worth buying a couple of packets.
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I think there's a rule that you have to buy seeds if you go into Lidl

Must be spring cos so have Aldi!

Their's all seem to be 39p and I splurged a massive £1.56 on some seeds - leeks, tomatoes, beetroot and parsley.

Been using Lidl seeds for the last three years for the basics and one I'd heartily recommend is the round courgette 'Di Nizza'

I grew those last year and they did really well producing lots of tasty courgettes.

I don't think we have reductions like that here.
I'm off out that way later so I'll go and have a little browse

                Any excuse eh?

I was wrong on the price, found my receipt, they actually knocked off 9p a packet as I bought a few, so they were 20p a packet!!!!!!!

They are very good seeds too though, not cheap and nasty. We've not a had a packet that hasn't worked, the flower seeds are such a bargain. I was looking at some bouquets in a florists last year, then had a look at what was growing in my garden, thanks to the cheap seeds. I thought "Wow! I could have beautiful bouquets for hardly anything in my house all Summer long" But, then, I thought they looked better in the garden and left them all! If I grow enough this year I might pick a bunch or two.

I bought 10 packs of the small seeds and 5 packs of the large seeds - it's good to hear people have had success with them. I've definitely got enough veg now but might have to pop back tomorrow to have a look at the flowers ;-)

                            Oh no!.........

I shall have to go look now My seed addiction is getting the better of me.

Might turn my plot into a square foot area just to grow all the varieties I have

                            Look out Lidl and Aldi................
