    Lemon Drop Tomatoes

    I grew a couple of these from seed in the big GYO seed swap and the foliage is very delicate and more divided than all my other toms - they look quite pretty, actually.

    My question is - do they stay delicate - or do they grow as tall, with as many trusses, as the other tomatoes do, eventually?

    sorry, to bump this, but I don't know how much room to leave these in the border, or whether to keep them in pots, if they're going to stay small

        If they're like the lemon ones I used to grow, treat them as the rest, they can get quite large if left un-nipped....
        Never test the depth of the water with both feet

            Thank you, both.
            I have been nipping the armpit sideshoots out
            From the link it looks as if they grow tall, so I'll put them at the back of the greenhouse with the Black cherry tom

                  No I meant are you sticking them in water / compost to get them to grow too?

                      Do it! Do it!
                      Just pot them up and pass them on to a neighbour's child..

                      Somehow this year I have managed to fit more tomatoes in my greenhouse than I expected.
                      I think it's cos I'm using square pots not round... They fit next to each other better. I've still got a set of shelves in - although they'll come out shortly so I can spread the tomatoes out a bit more.
