    Should I start again with these runners?? Are they a bit leggy?

    No, once they're in the ground they'll be fine, they are climbers after all.

        Agreed, they'll be fine. Most of my green beans looked that way last year and they filled out really well with leaves and of course beans a few weeks later.

          As above! ^^^^^^They are gunna want to climb anyway, the reason I sow my beans direct! Takes all the hassle out of sowing n potting on!

            I would suggest some form of temporary support so you don't damage them whilst potting up.

              Looking fine but agree with Potty, some small canes would help them.

                we can't sow direct over here because of the enormous slug & snail population. They had a bite out of all my beans & pumpkins the first night they were out, despite (organic) slug pellets
