I could be wrong but I think it is because the pots you have them in are no where near deep enough. They look very shallow.

It's the pots that came with the growlight. About the depth of seed trays. 2 inches maybe? They do look more shallow in the picture

I have to agree with Scoot NG,I would take them out & replant them up to their seed leaves, maybe even up to their first set of true leaves..

Some types of chilli are more leggy than others but they shouldn't be flopping like that. Have you had them under the light since germination or did they get leggy before you got the light? They do look too big for the trays so I think the suggestion to pot up in deeper pots (and bury some of the stem) is a good one.

Under the light since germination. This is the 1st time they've been out

They look too leggy from too much heat/too little light. What temps are you growing them at and how far from the light are they?

I think they are under grow lights 1cm below the light Scarlet. I think they are at the stage now where they may benefit from a bit of nutrition.

I don't think its anything to do with nutrition, they look a good colour...?the stems are too spindly to hold the top growth.

I think the good colour is due to the grow lights but I think we all agree they are in need of being planted deeper.

Replant into 3 inch pots up to the seed leaves and they should be fine.
Oh and i wouldnt feed them if you have been, just put them into mpc and therell be enough in there for a mo.

I haven't been feeding them. They are in a warm room but very close to the light, so close a couple have scorched leaves.
