    do you think its to late to sow kale in the north east?
    how long does it take to grow it from seed?

      RHS say you can sow in May and June - so plenty of time

        I've not sown mine yet although will be doing in the next week or so. I don't want to harvest it until the winter so don't want it too early.

        Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

        Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

          Like Alison, I don't sow kale too early as I want it ready for picking in the deep winter.. so, will be sowing mine in succession over the next few weeks.

            Certainly not too late, I sowed some in September last year and was picking it up until about a week ago.

              They are really tough, can be sown almost all year around
