  • Last years potato bags

    Hi
I left my potato bags sat from last year which have now produced top growth, will they produce anything or will they be ok if they did. I don't usually leave bags sat so not had this before.
    Thanks.

You mean you never harvested them last year and they've regrown?

I have . I've got a barrel of Epicure that I never harvested and they've done the same thing. Gawd knows what's in there?

No, I harvested them and put the compost back in the bag 'just for now' until I got it emptied...but didn't get the compost out. So whether a tiny potato was left in I dunno ?

Now I have done that and got a fair crop, I always let the "wild ones" grow in the garden too, free grub what ever they are.

                  Love that term
They only get a little morning sun at the side of house, should I move them to a sunny spot , shall I start feeding ?

Well, having got a little blight I harvested them. Some good sizes amongst (lady c and Charlotte) . Pretty pleased really.
