| Maincrop. When the haulms die off in the autumn is when they have finished growing. But that is if the blight does not get them. when a tuber has formed and is above the size of golfball they are usable. You pays your money you takes your choice of yield.

| My King Edwards seem to be in the grip of blight, so I took the advice of some kind grapes and lopped the stems off - down to the ground (?), and thought I'd dig one up to see how they're fairing. Some are a decent size, some are more like new spuds, but they all seem ok, and most wouldn't look out of place on a dinner plate. Hope this helps?

| King edwards are main crop potatoes and take a recommended 14 weeks+ to mature so I would not even look until 14weeks has passed, I got this info from a leaflet with my original seed potatoes, Also if you want them to store it says to leave in the ground after the halums have died off for 2-3 weeks, though I always lose a lot when doing this. hope this helps.
