  • Kale - Reflex

    Hi Folks

Again something new I'm trying, planted last year, had a couple or servings but question, mauve furry stuff on the plants / leafs, washing off easy enough?

    Advice as always much appreciated.
    Cheers

Sorry I can't help you with your problem, however I opened a pack of these to sow for the first time today - pleasantly surprised to see such bright green seeds.

They're probably treated. Check the pack if so and be sure to wash your hands after.

Thanks for the advice - although it might be too late.

Soapy water in a squinty bottle (wash kale before eating! )

                    Squash them with your fingers

Introduce natural predators (ladybugs for example)

There's probably a chemical solution too, but I personally can't advise as I don't use pesticides.
