  • Jap Onion Sets

We bought some bargin Jap Onion sets (50p a net) intending to put them in a tad late in November. BUT as we had only just taken over our plot we didn't manage to clear space form them. Just found them and they look fine, not rotted or anything. Would they still grow if we put them in now instead of buying more sets ?

Deffo put them in.............but don't rely on them as your mainstay of onions!

Judging by the amount of growth mine have put on outside (not very much!) you aint got much to lose!

They'll grow, or do something - might just bolt.
Don't rely on them, they aren't (supposedly) good keepers anyway.
