  • i've got tatas!!!

    just had a rummage, only found 3 but 3 is a good start .. i've put them back in the soil so daughter can "find" them for me when she comes home from her grandparents on tuesday.. they won't go off or anything will they??

    As in go bad? Or as in shimmy off to the offie for a can of beer?

          Well done you. They will be fine there. I am sure they will taste marvellous. Mine did. The first pan full I cooked the same way I do with shop bought ones and they disintegrated. The second pan I did for only 5 mins and they broke apart. The last pan full I steamed over the carrots and they were just right. Lesson learnt... don't expect them to cook as shop bought ones. Trial and error is a wonderful thing.

              good point... can you make mash with first earlies though? (not got much of a clue about what you can do with which potato)
