  • An interesting mix ?

A mixture of work commitments and RAIN has meant I've not spent much time at the plot in the last couple of weeks. A quick visit yesterday confirmed that the weeds have been enjoying the conditions.
Anyhow, I spotted some interesting self-seeding that had gone on in one of my gooseberry pots.

Its a bit of a jungle but alongside the gooseberry I spotted some rather charming borage that was attracting a load of bees and some nasturtium. Might have to do it rather more deliberately next year.

I love borage, it looks so pretty and I know from our garden how the bees like it. Happy accidents are always fun
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

We have a load of forget-me-nots which have self seeded near the soft fruit, Balders!

They always stab me as I stroll past, but get a good telling off, so we're equal!
