  • I'm a sucker for a seedling......

I know this because of the sheer amount of toms i got growing away happily in my garden. I can't seem to throw seedlings away, even the ones i think won't make it.... result is i have a huge amount of toms growing, 4 different varieties, but there is no way i am going to be able to eat them all. Looks like a lot of tomato soup going in the freezer and passata!!

I think a lot of us suffer from this!! I've just used the last batch of roast tomato sauce from the freezer, hope the toms hurry up and ripen!
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

Last year I had some tomatoes fall off the plants, damaged and unuseable. I thought no more of it, until a month or so back when I discovered dozens of seedlings in the old grow-bags..... I rescued as many of them as I could find pots for, and I am hoping they will grow on and can be brought into the house later to perhaps give me a late crop....
None of them are showing any signs of the blight that did so much harm to the parent plants they fell from.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

I also have these, and loads of armpit seedlings; I pop them in any spare soil/pots and let them grow one or two trusses only - in the hope that they will ripen in time.
