  • I'm chuffed to bits!!

My first allotment harvest is in! I'm so pleased that the tunnel is now producing and I’m delighted to finally be getting the first ingredients of the season.

    Thanks for all the help

              Great looking veg there.

I'll bet every one of those carrots is delicious but a modern tragedy is that I'll bet the supermarkets would reject all but two of those carrots on the basis of not looking 'carroty enough'.

              Good eatin'

                      they look gorgeous.

Part of the joy of growing your own carrots if you have small children is the "willy-carrots" or the "trousers-carrots" that regularly get fought over.... Perhaps the supermarkets could look into this as an incentive to getting giggly 9 year-olds to eat more veg ??

Well Done! Looks tasty your harvest! Wish my carrots would look like that - so slow to grow! (Maybe I'm just impatient! hehehe )
