I've got a few diddy snips going, but I think they will all come up twisted and probably obscene as well. Then I have spuds. I'll be freezing a few of my berries if any make it that far. Then I'm hoping the sweetcorn will last as frozen kernels. Oh, and of course some squash.
As you can tell don't do much meat at all, specially at Christmas. I prefer a pasta and veg fest, along with puddings!
Now do I talk about the damson gin, the rhubarb schnapps and the plum brandy at this juncture?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

If my memory serves me well the sprouts of yesteryear were absolutely disgusting. Yellow, slimy and oh boy didn't they stink.

No not growing anything special for the big day...I dont have an allotment, so basically just hoping I have some potatoes and kale, as I am the only one who likes sprouts, and my garden can be extremely windy (err...dont make any comments) I decided to forgo trying to grow them again! I hope I'll have some runners in the freezer too.

Was going to say... yeah boiled to death - mush! yum.

                        much like broccoli, carrots, etc.

When I cook xmas dinner now, the grannies always moan at the half cooked (ahem, al dente!) veg.

Save some raspberries for vodka too. I don't drink (seriously, I don't!) but a small tot of raspberry vodka is gorgeous
