I have a 8x6 greenhouse I was thinking about putting two rows of grow bag trays on each side with three lots of plants each side, would this be okay? or could they become over crowded?

Depends on what plants you're growing!
I wouldn't grow 2 rows of tomato plants each side, personally. Others may? -

I grow in the ground in mine, which I think helps me pack more in. I had 14-15 tomatoes, 7 peppers, 4 aubergines in the ground last year, plus a tumbling tom on a shelf & pots of chillies. The beds are 2ft wide along the long sides and 3ft deep at the back.
I did grow 2 rows of tomatoes at the thicker end of the bed. It worked well, but I had to be on top of picking off sideshoots and taking off a few leaves to keep the airflow ok.
This year I am going for 14 tomatoes in the border (7 each side), 8 peppers and 4 aubergines. Plus possibly a melon to scramble around the bottom in a poor attempt at shading out weeds.
At the moment I have staging in it on 2 sides, and a row of early mangetout & beetroot on the other. That all needs to come out to make way for the plants though, which is a bit of a juggling act.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbiaComment

Gardengeordie, the only advice I would give, try not to put too much stuff in your greenhouse, disease will set in and you will end up loosing all your crops.

What does not seem like much soon turn into a lot
If you are going to be on top of watering and feeding 3 in a bag would be ok. But overcrowding the GH in general will be a bad idea, you need good air flow and if its like a forest that won't happen.

Agree with the rest about not overcrowding.
The best advice I can give is to be ruthless when it comes to planting time. If you have 20 plants and only space for 10 I would recommend you ditch the ones you don't need (or give them away). Squeezing in extra will only be to the detriment of the whole lot.
I keep too many each year then by August when I'm overrun I wish I'd chucked a few on the compost!!The more help a man has in his garden, the less it belongs to him.

Agree that it would be counter productive to put too many plants in the greenhouse and lose them all but if you do have too many then why not let the extras take their chances outside (assuming you have the space)? A tomato grown outdoor might set less trusses than one in the greenhouse but hopefully you'll still get a few tomatoes from it.Posted on an iPad so apologies for any randomly auto-corrected gobbledegook
