  • How to make a Cabbage happy

I was determined to grow some cabbage this year, in particular Savoy as we eat them anyway when they are available in the supermarket.

My second brassica cage took longer than intended to get built and erected so the cabbages spent longer than they should have in their pots . . . they weren't happy

I finally planted them out on the 13th July, 9 days ago . . .

    . . . and now much happier.

I was getting concerned that they had been in pots for way too long, I guess it may still cause them to bolt, only one way to find out
