Difficult to tell as I tend to do things in fits and starts s I'll go every day some weeks, and then others I'll and then only go to water and pick the next

I'll estimate 5 though, for my half plot... which isn't enough really but y'know.

Quite simply, not enough! Pressures of working 6 days and 2 nights a week, along with a young family, a house that needs a lot of work, organising the local horticultural show as well as being secretary of the local gardening club means my time is fairly restricted.
However, when I do get the chance to spend some time there, I work like a man possessed by some green fingered (or dirty fingernailed) demon.

A lot depends on the time of year and the weather. On average i would say 3 hours twice a week, but more in hot weather when i am down at dawn watering.

As much as possible, there is always something to be done.
Weather permitting I am down every day for at least an hour but then yesterday I was there for five, not all working there is some chatting and some faffing about.
I would reckon I am there at least 12 hours a week

My allotment is the garden outside the house, so if I'm not at work or in the house, I'm in the garden, the place I would prefer to be for most of my time!

As Florence says, mine is in my garden so probably an hour a day or so, more at the weekends. When I had an allotment I spent alot more time there, but not alot more working lol. Alot of chatting to fellow plotholders or just sitting around admiring

At least an hour every morning come rain or shine and same in the evening 24/7. I'd love to have my growing area at my back door too but my allotments (I have three half plots) are a good alternative.

I used to go every day, but this last year I've lost the will. The drought came at the worst possible time, just as all the seedlings went in. Those plants that survived the heat were then picked to death by thirsty pigeons & sparrows.

I've sown again where possible, but I'm still harvesting very little, therefore there's not much to do up there. I can't keep on watering every day, our soil is like sand and doesn't hold onto it: it's a waste of time.

We've just now had a couple of days of rain (first since end of March really) so the weeds will all be up ! I'll do probably 6 hrs weeding this week, in return for a handful of peas *sigh

About 5 hrs a week at the plots and about 10 hrs in the kitchen gardens/green house.

Although I did plant veg at the allotment that doesnt need much looking after, and planted the funny stuff in the kitchen garden.
