  • Horseradish....

My horseradish leaves are about 5 foot tall and loads of it!

Do I just leave it be?

Do I have to cut it back at all. Its just when I took over the plot I dont remember clearing away any dead leave from there. Mind you it is growing with my immense comfrey bushes so I may not have noticed and all that was rotten on the ground too.

    Ta muchly in advance

Do you want it for the root or do you mean you are trying to get rid?

You don't do anything with it apart from dig it up if you want to get rid, or dig it up to make sauce.

Try grating some into mashed potatoes too
It was dark. And cold. And very, very empty.

And in the middle of all of the dark, cold, emptiness lay something darker, and colder, but very, very full.

When do you harvest the root?
