  • Help! Courgette Mosaic Virus?

The leaves have been getting steadily worse... thing is I can't see any aphids on the actual leaves themselves. Is that what is causing this problem and if so, should I remove the affected leaves? The plants are still producing lots of female flowers but the males are not opening yet.

    Thanks for your advice!

They're in a veg planter, about four foot long so the plants are spaced about 60cm apart

I wouldn't worry to much I have had plants with the virus that still produce loads of fruit with no problem.

To be honest, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Leaves seldom look perfect.

Awesome, thank you chaps and chapesses. All I need now is some males. Isn't that always the problem...? ;-)

They're like buses, you don't see one for ages and then they all arrive together. Don't worry CF, they'll be fine.

I'm no expert, having no experience of CMV, but it doesn't look like the classic mottling

Your leaves look more like flea beetle damage to me (although those attack brassicas)
