Has any one heard of this tom variety?

    Has any one heard of this tom variety?

    I bought two Tom plants yesterday and all they had on them was the name "Manduro".
    There were no details and I have searched the web but found nothing.Has anyone heard of manduro?

    Can't find anything...sorry!

    Have you checked the spelling? what other info is on the label- eg who grew it etc???

      The only Manduro I could find was a racehorse

        Think you'll find 'Manduro' is either a place or brand name, never heard of a variety of tomato with this name.

          It's not on Davesgarden.com tomato cultival finder either - my usual place for checking toms.

            the only thing i found was that's what a sun-ripened tomato is called in Spain.
            I think it just means ripe tomato
            as opposed to a commercially grown one I assume....
