  • Green Peppers turning Red!

My "hot green peppers" are turning red!
Are they over ripe or should I wait until they're completely red?

I've had them when they were green - hot stuff!
Will they lose their strength if turned red? or will it gain more strength?

Don't forget in some cases red is for danger. You have been warned. Don't forget when doing anything with chillies remember to wash your hands after handling them (or you will live to regret it).

Sorry to be the voice of doom - enjoy them.

I learned the hard way. Touched my face after chopping up a chilli - had tearing eyes for an hour.
Thanks for the info all. I'm still a bit curious as to why my "hot green peppers" are turning red though.. a bit wierd?
