Hi All, Has anyone ever used winter barley/wheat/oats as a green manure? Sown in the autumn and dug in, in the spring while still lush and green, would this work as a green manure? Any ideas anyone? Thanks. P.

I've found most green manures to be too hard to germinate, too hard to dig in when I want them.
I now stick to Limnanthes (with a bit of Phacelia for variety)
