I just found the garlic I meant to plant in November. When can I plant it out, do I have to wait until the spring?

Hi GrubbyGirl. I take it that they are Autumn types, then i would sow them in modules or small pots for the moment and leave outside or in a cold greenhouse. Then when the weather picks up and the soil thaws, stick them in their growing spot. If you don't plant them they don't have any chance. Good luck

Yes I would go along with planting up in pots as it could be a few more weeks yet till you will be able to plant outside looking at the weather forecast. The earlier you can get it started the better, though it doesn't need to be undercover. Are they a hardneck or softneck.

They are hard neck. I think I might actually be able to plant them soon, it's not really been below freezing for the last few days in kent so hopefully the soil will thaw quickly, I'll be putting them in raised bed too so they should thaw even quicker.
