  • Garlic in december - what are my options?

Calling on advice from garlic experts. I have bought on ebay a few garlic bulbs in mid November but the first package was lost in the post so never arrived, the seller resent another one which I received today 6 of December. Can I still plant it or is it too late? It is frosty outside not the best conditions for planting. But having spent quite a bit on it feel upset if this all gets waisted. Should I keep it till spring maybe?

You still have time! There's a good thread about it here http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...lic_68773.html

I would plant them in pots of general purpose compost and then keep them in a frostfree airy place until there ia mild spell and you can get them planted out. Might be an idea to harden them off before planting out if they have been inside a while
