  • Folded seedlings

    Hi there.

So ive sowed various seeds in a propagation tray and some have sprouted but are completely folded. So they go from root up out of the soil, a complete fold and back into the soil. Is this normal?

That "hook shape" is normal for onions. They will pull the end out at some point,if not the next leaf that comes will come "straight up".

If you need to price them out best to do it at the "hook" stage. They will just have a single straight root, which gets long, and forked, if you leave it longer.

If they are outside / in-a-pot then nothing needs to be done except wait
