Hi all I have a problem I have planted some seeds in cardboard pots and put them on window sill to grow ready for trance planting out however the pots are covered in a white fluffy fungus. The pots are in the kitchen and conservatory both sets show this any ideas.

Are they too damp? This happened to mine so I let them dry out a bit

      Over watering.

      Sorry.

but I love the idea of trance-planting (that's what Lynda will be doing if she eats her magic mushrooms)

If your seeds haven't rotted, they'll be fine. No need to transplant the seeds.

A bit of mould on the compost is normal at this time of year when it is mostly damp and cold.

Trance planting is when you ether pot seedling in to a bigger pot as they grow or when you move and plant the seedling/plants out side in to the garden

trance planting is the elevated state of mind you achieve when faced with hundreds of seedlings all crying for attention.

did anyone read fngus th bgyman?

Surely this is a question for HeyWayne, our Zen Master Presumably it is some kind of meditative state induced by the release of endorphins when the weather improves enough and the long frustrating wait of winter is over. In some disciples this is preceeded by "Dream Sowing".
