    First 2 strawberries woooohoooo finally also sweet pea info please

    Well just had my first two strawberries of 2012 and they were great lost a few tomatoes (gardeners delights) through splitting I was away for the weekend before my op in the morning so they split while I was away runner beans are getting there

    I have noticed that my sweet peas now have three peas on are they edible as someone told me they only flower! Any advice on sweet peas will be great

    Sweet peas are not edible, they're just seeds forming - save them for next year!

          We have to look after you!!!
          If you want your sweet peas to keep flowering you need to nip off the seedheads, Once they set seeds they think their job is done for the year

            How big do they have to be before you nip them off there's 2 about an inch in size

              If you want flowers, nip off anything that finished flowering!

                I think I read that sweet peas are poisonous to eat
