female pumkin' flowers!

Hey folks:

Over the weekend I noticed that three of my pumpkin vines are producing female flowers. My question is.........how long will the flowers last? I want to pollinate them myself, how long will I have to get this done?

The flowers usually last anything from a couple of days to 4 or 5 days depending upon the weather, the good thing is you'll only need one male flower to do the job. I don't bother pollinating them myself (lazy) and usually find that the local bee population is happy to oblige, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
