That really does depend, were are you growing them? Are they in the ground or containers? What variety are they? What stage of growth are they at?

Mine are in borders in the polytunnel. I give the soil a good depth of home made compost and add organic matter when planting. I then start feeding when the first fruit sets up by diluting comfrey tea once a week. I also know people that feed more often but will dilute it more so the total is probably the same.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

They are in the greenhouse in bottom less pots on gravel. They now have green tomatoes on them.

Time for a high potash feed to encourage fruit growth.
I use tomorite but there are organic feeds to. If you use tomorite you should follow the instructions on the container. Tomorite is not a brand name it is made by several different companies and therefore comes with different NPK values.
I must admit I use about twice the recommended dose indoors with I think good results.

I feed a mixture of comfrey, molasses and worm wee as a liquid feed once a week. I'm presently growing them in straw bales topped off with wood chipping compost. So far so good. I have Tigerella and Pear varieties, it's all a bit experimental, but so far so good.
