    Feeding potatoes

    Hi all,

    Should I be feeding my potatoes? Some of them have lots of nice greenery and I earthed some of them up today. They are all in big 30l tubs.should I be feeding tomorite yet?

    I've just fed mine with dilute tomato food - they are also in 30 litre pots. Mine are planted in 2nd hand compost with a bit of bfb added at planting time, and it seemed about time to give them a bit more.

      Early spuds I give them a nitrogen feed at about 5 weeks, followed by tomorite at about 8 and 10 weeks.

      Main crop stay on nitrogen till about week 14 then change to tomorite till harvest.
