  • fall crop of peas

my first fall frost date is around oct 15.
I planted 144 seeds in pots in last Wednesday of an early dwarf variety.
hopefully the weather and luck are my side.
I just hope the plants are as frost hardy as they claim. I plan on covering them if there is frost warning but wish me luck

What planting zone are you in ( I'm assuming you are American calling Autumn 'Fall'...we are a UK site )

I found this info for growing peas zone5-8

Peas for Fall (National Gardening Association)

Good luck!...it says they should be sweeter....

The only other thing I can think of that might be helpful is round peas are supposed to be more hardy (as opposed to wrinkled peas)

      Welcome to the vine

Ah, you're quicker on than me, I was thinking falling down and was a bit confused, doh, too early for me!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
