English Rose Tomato

I am looking for some history on the tomato called English Rose.
I know there is a Russian Rose and just Rose tomato.
Sometimes it gets confusing.
I heard that the ER tomato has been in the same family for generations in the U.K.
Anyone know of it's precise history?
