I have some self sown sunflowers on my plot can i eat the seed?if so how do i get thehusks off. I also have pumkins growing can i way the seed? Sorry for silly question.

And thanks Flo was thinking of adding them both to bread, I love seeded bread but buying seed is expensive I will off course keep some seed for sowing next year.
