The Edible Garden Show - Home

    Just spotted this on t'net
The Edible Garden Show 2010 will be staged over three days from Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21 at Britain’s most famous agricultural venue – Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

Anyone in that area or prepared to travel, you may be interested.
Personally it is a bit too far for me.

This is at least the third thread on this, is it poss for the mods to merge? Think we all agree it looks good though.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Sorry 'bout that! I truly am.
Does anyone actually search old threads for a possible match tho'?

Unless you are new to the vine and trying to get a feel for everything, or you religiously read every new post and check in every half hours throughout the day, its pretty well impossible to keep up to date with everything. Personally, I only check the latest postings, and only the first page of them, and as I am usually out all day and get on for only a couple of hours in the evenings and at weekends, I am sure I miss a heck of a lot of them.
Could it be that we have a 'check all postings since last logged on' button?

I wasn't having a go, just thought it'd be nice to merge. Personally I don't start many threads but do try and find if anybody has posted on the same subject before but don't find the search easy to use so often miss stuff.

However, there is a 'check all postings since last logged on' button, it's where I always go first to read posts - look at the top, it's the 'new posts' button. I never go the individual pages although this does mean that I accidently click on subjects I don't mean to quite often too so nothing's perfect.

I know you weren't hun, it made me realise how many posts I probably miss though.
That is the button I use, but only look at 1st page. Not too sure it covers every post since last log on either.

The only problem with searching old threads is....................if everyone did it there'd be no 'new threads' as just about everything imagineable has been covered at one time in the past!

I agree; I usually keep merging to the 'same question being asked by the same person' or the same topic [such as when someone dies or something important happens]. If 2 Grapes asked in the same day - then I'd definitely merge

All this since I attended Fi's 'Merging and Management' Course in the Spring.

If more Grapes visit and/or meet up as a result of a few threads, then that can only be a good thing.

Anyway WW - I think some from the North West are coming along, perhaps we can get you there for a chin wag. I'll be there at some point, all being well.
