we were looking at the tatties in old dustbins the other week when we found blight, yep, second week of june and we have blight, mind you its hardly stopped raining since the end of april so we shouldnt be too surprised, just totally browned off, sitting here ,looking at it raining yet again, heating is on as its cold and lights on to read the paper as its too dark to read easily without,a very typical midsummers day.....anyone remember what sunshine looks like?...and nearly all my french beans and half my runners have given up the ghost, not great swimmers, even in my freedraining loam, theres always next year...

          Hi BUFFS,

I am in the same boat here weather wise, thanks for the Blight info off to check mine now but think it won't be far off here

It has been so wet and windy here I have resorted to tying the greenhouse together with string as the frame got soo buckled with the wind!

Oh well it will be winter soon

            Is it blight?

I've seen nothing on the potato council site about it yet.

I echo what Zaz just said. Sorry to hear the weather has defeated your crops.
