  • Dwarf bean spacing

I am in the serious planning stage now....
I have a few varieties of dwarf/compact french beans. Only one packet (tendergreen) has spacing advice. It reckons on 25cm between plants and 60cm between rows. Is this typical?? I will not have raised beds and will be sowing by row, can I do a double row and if so what spacing should I use??
I was thinking of 25cm between staggared rows and the 60cm between the next set of rows...... (ie 25cm between all plants within the double row) Is this enough though??
    Any tips??
    Tx

I tend to put them in blocks - 25cm (or more likely a foot!) apart each way.
