I have a roma tom plant in a large bucket, had one tumbling tom still to place somewhere........ or what i thought was a tumbling tom...... and put it in the bucket with the roma, thinking how pretty it will be when both plants start fruiting. Now the " tumbler" is almost as tall as the Roma....... think i got mixed up with cherry toms.......

I have grown some tumbling tom tomatoes this year all from the same packet and yet I have two distinct types of plants. Some are quite large and open plants (still tumbling) with some nice trusses forming and others are very compact with dozens of side shoots and masses of flowers. I think I am going to get a better crop from the more open plants. Just strange that they came out of the same packet.
