  • Do plants have second sight

I know asparagus can have a long germination time but 7 weeks after planting Martha Washington I thought I had nothing to lose and planted up some Connover's Colossal and put them in my electric propagator. I now have 22 MW and 20 CC and counting. Did the MW know I had planted a rival?
I thought the MW had a tendency towards male offspring but further research shows perhaps not. By all accounts it's best to have male plants - Does anyone know how soon can you tell? I just fancied growing my own from seed.

Never grown it D10, must really make some room or dedicate a container. Good luck with your "experiment".

I think they might. I gave up on a cucumber seed ever germinating and stuck another one in the pot - upon which, both germinated.
