  • Cucurbit identification

Planted a marketmore cuc a few months back grown from seed. The others are marketmore cucs except one. I haven't any squash seeds or anything like that so not muddled one up but I did have jack o lantern pumpkin seeds planted in seed modules at the same time as these. Each was labelled so I know I didn't plant a pumpkin there instead as those were left in the tunnel longer than the cucs.
Has anyone any idea as to what this non marketmore cucumbers might be please?

I can't see it being something left behind from last year either if that's possible as it was a flower bed previously

I've got pics at various stages to hopefully help. The leaves look more 3 lobed rather than 5

Forgot to say the pic of the bud on the tiny fruit is 'meant' to be a jack o lantern pumpkin as that was what was planted there

Winter squash of some sort. I once had a packet of courgette defender & they all came through fine except one which looked different & tasted bitter & felt like it was burning us. Occasionally a rogue seed from a rogue cross polination gets through. ..
      Another happy Nutter...

Definitely looks like a squash to me, not a cucumber. Other than that I can't help I'm afraid!

I would say you've got yourself a very nice pumpkin there.
I'm a little jealous, I've only got two fruits that size from 5 plants.

Hubby keeps saying it's a pumpkin too. As he tells me though he's as green fingered as I am mechanical so I bluffed him away and said it must be squash of some sort. Looks like there's another popping up in the boys runners now too so that's going to have to come out of there

There's 3 pumpkin plants planted (planted on purpose that is) and if this is pumpkin there's 5 fruits so far on that one plant and a tiny one appearing on 2 of the others behind the flowers.

Just next door to this bed the man there is growing squashes and corguettes. Is there a chance something might have happened there?
