    Morning all!

I'm trying cucumbers for the first time this year. It's a variety that will go either in the blowaway or outside - the name escapes me and I can't find the packet right now... But my question is how do they grow? Do I need to train them up something or are they more sprawly or bush type plants? Or does it depend on which type I have?

Many thanks! If I can find the name of the cucumber I'll come back and edit it into the post!

Is it Marketmore? I'm trying them for the first time this year (seeds were free with GYO).

I grow marketmore and I always train them up a 'wigwam', I don't think you have to it just saves space in the salad patch and keeps them off the ground.

Most cucumbers can be trained upwards, and in a greenhouse that's the most practical option or they take over. Usually I use a couple of canes, one just either side of the plant, and zig-zag string between them, and then weave the plant between the strings as it grows.

Just found the name- its Tasty King. Although I do also have the Marketmore seeds from GYO but got them after I'd already bought the others. And as I'm the only one in the house who will actually eat cucumber....!

Greenhouse wig-wam it is then, thanks!
