  • Cucumbers, again!

Ive sorted the marketmore, there now getting polinted and grwoing well with some quite large cucumbers already
, but now the other ones are flowering, some mini cucumbes forming and i cant find out wether to leave flowers, polinate, not polinate etc , i can find nothing out about it
So, has anyone grown these?, do i take the non cucumber shape flowers off or do i pollinate them, if i need to take the flowers off, i then need to keep them seperate from the marketmore ones ( or other ones with both flowers) ?

    Ive got

    LUNGO VERDE DEGLI ORTOLANI
    Spacemaster 80
    Piccolo
    Marketmore 76
    Marketmore 80
    Telegraph

And....does anyone know what the difference between marketmore 76 and 80 is???
Living off grid and growing my own food in Bulgaria.....

depends if they are all female varieties(most F1 seed are) in which case you won't need to take the flowers off.Should say on the seed packet .We have grown the mini varieties for a couple of years now and had great crops.good luck with yours!

Marketmore is more usually grown outdoors...known as a ridge cucumber. those you don't remove male flowers.

Frame, or greenhouse cukes, like Telegraph (although some claim to be female only) you do remove male flowers, in order to stop the fruits going bitter.

      don't know your other varieties.
