  • Cucumber trouble

    Hi
I have grown palermo cucumbers from seed and have had no problems til I repotted them when they became too big for 3 inch pots. The lower leaves have become covered in brown spots (photo provided) and one plant wilted altogether. I have been careful when watering and have kept the water off the leaf.

I would be grateful for any help

The rest of the plant looks good, so I wouldn't worry too much at this point. Young cucumber plants often suffer from wilt due to too much water around the stem. So perhaps water sparingly from underneath?

Thanks for the speedy response. I have stood the pot in some water with added epsom salt because I was been told it could also be caused due to a lack of magnesium. I will just have to wait and hope the plant picks up

Wow they look much better than mine! I sowed them about a month ago - they are still inside, but look very sorry for themselves, I thought I had planted too soon, how old are yours?
