I have 2 small cucumbers seedlings with only 2 leaves each. They are in the greenhouse in a large deep tub.....but they wont grow. They seem to be doing nothing at all, any ideas why??

The weather ! I think everything will grow better just as soon as it gets a bit warmer.

Default slow cucumbers

Yes, I think the lack of sunshine is slowing things down, be very careful not to over water them at this stage - I did last year when we hit a dull spell and they all got wilt, only one out of 5 survived so be careful! They'll romp away once the sun comes out a bit more, good luck!

the hot weather to cold has got somthing todo with it but it could also be down to bad seeds out of 10 seeds,2 didnt grow, 2 grow so slow in the same propagator . they are healthy looking well formed just didnt seem to grow fast at all .still i binned them the other day ( the 2 was 1" the others was 10").not saying u should bin them at all . try growing more seeds if u have them see how they go.
