    cucumber mildew

    Hi Grapes

    Never grown cucumbers before and thought I would try them this year. Have had 4 so far which I was very pleased with, but now the plant seems to have powdery mildew on the leaves. I have searched our local garden centre and diy shop but cannot seem to find anything to treat this on 'edibles'. Can anyone suggest anything please?

    Hi there!
    I had the same problem. Went to the garden centre and they suggested dithane which I have now used. You have to wait for a week before you can pick the crop, so I made sure I harvested any decent sized ones before treating.
