| Hello all I have successfully grown some Telegraph cucumbers this year in the greenhouse but have a very stupid problem. I can't tell the difference between the male and female flowers. I know that the females have a small fruit behind but i can't see one and every flower looks the same. I have got some cucumbers but am worried they will taste bitter because i didn't pick off the male flowers. Any help would be much appreciated ![]() |

| Hi, I'm new to the vine and only started growing veg this year, my only advice would be: if you can't tell the difference now, leave it a few weeks to see what happens, also, September seems quite late for cucmumbers, anyway, I know very little so please seek other expert advice!!! |
