You always get male flowers first - and no females - so you get flowers but no fruits set. Patience will produce more than you can eat! When both are present (the females have little swellings behind the flowers, the beginnings of your courgettes) they will soon become polinated and swell up. Then the problem is eating them fast enough. Good luck! (And welcome to the grapevine of course!)
