  • Courgette Clarita - lebanese - cousa

I have been growing Clarita for many many years and then Unwins discontinued. Bought from Marshalls but they are not the same. The plant has a different habit, it is much less productive with inferior taste.

I have tried Magda but found that very prone to slugs.

I have ordered Clarion from Kings to give that a try.

I like Lungo Bianco but not the same, also tried Trieste but not impressed.

Does anyone know please where else I can get Clarita seeds.

I got some "white" courgette seeds in Spain (pale green, not white, and unnamed). They were really good: I grew them alongside Jemmer, Taxi and a normal green one, and it outdid all of them.
In fact not even the first frost killed it, it struggled on too produce another couple of diddy fruits before it finally ran out of steam and died in December

A simple google brings up Marshalls and Stoke Seeds (US).
