What do you mean by 50% sun? Sun only half the say or sun on half the conservatory? I have (and sometimes still do) grow in mine although it can get very hot. The biggest problem I have is I seem to get a white fly problem in there. Managed some good aubergines too.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

You can but try. They need warmth more than sun, but they do need sun. I've grown them on a window board indoors, they do well, but the window was east facing. My guess is they will not do well. How many hours direct sun would they get?

I had a stunning crop of Chillis last yeah grown in my north facing conservatory. I did give them a half strength liquid feed every time i watered but i was still picking decent chillis into December
