after my 1st year i decided to buy another bin so the compost you have now can stay where it is to mature for next autums dig in and start another bin off now, then you will always have a bin full of lovely rotted manure..i would grow green manure over the winter and dig that in next spring so you wont need to pay for any compost (making the outlay on the bin minimum) happy composting!!!

if you mean the compost in pots etc., then i'd just spread it on your beds as a soil conditioner/improver

i either add it to my soil, or chuck it in the compost bin, it is good for the soil.
