    have recieved some comfrey seeds in the post this morning.
    my problem is, there are no instructions on how to sow..........please can someone give me some advice.

      Pot, compost, compost pot. Just like that.

      Just like you would an average seed. Light covering of compost over them. Keep away from slugs because young comfrey plants are vulnerable. Mine were last year anyway.
      I think I started mine in the greenhouse and then moved them outside but a cold frame will probably do.

          If you have comfrey seed that tends to suggest that's it's self-seeding. Watch out when it flowers because you'll have comfrey popping up everywhere.

            am going to cut it quite regularly and use it as mulch on beds, but thanks for the heads up.
